Half way there ...
Hello everyone, did you think I got lost? I have been so busy with assignments and grandkids I couldn't get on for a few days. I have had another first, I created my first webpage site for an assignment in web design class. There is a lot of thought and knowledge that goes into that for sure. I spent most of my week working on the assignment and I got frustrated a lot but in the end I did get it together and feel I learned a whole lot. This week I am working on a WebQuest and am having fun researching and getting it together. I am still working on how to do my movie, hope all of you are having as much fun as I am. I don't have enough hours in the day. I don't know about you but I sure have seen a lot of sharp curves lately. Need to speed up again, see you in a day or two.

That is so neat you created a web page. I would like to do that, but seems there is never enough extra time for things like that. The movie maker project was fun, I really learned a lot and want to share with my teachers when we return to school. I always panic then close my eyes on curves, but then always want to turn around and look and do it again. Life is crazy!
ReplyDeleteI would like to see your website...please provide the link. That is cool that you are stepping out and doing all of this neat stuff. It will definitely make a difference in your classroom. I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the conference, too, and to hear about all that you have done and learned with the assignments - and while at the conference, all of the neat sessions that you attend.
ReplyDeleteBrenda, hope you are getting things done. My other class sponged up all of time for about 20 days and now I get to put all of time into this class. Thing is, that's not very many days!
ReplyDeleteI think it is wonderful you are doing all of this technology and you will be so glad. In the last 7 years I have seen so many people who are unwilling to learn new things and it can really hinder one's growth. You should be proud to be tackling these things head on.
I look forward to you coming to observe and visit the Distance Learning Center - THAT INVITATION IS OPEN TO EVERYONE BY THE WAY.
I believe all of the school districts in the state have CIV equipment now, and UCA does too. It would be fun to set up a meeting some time in the upcoming school year to see how everyone is doing with their technology!
Hang in there Brenda! August 3rd is coming!
I know what you mean Brenda, there are not enough hours in a day. I try not to stress myself and takes breaks from my assignments when needed. I bet creating your own web page is really cool. Maybe you could talk a little about it when we meet again. Hang in there, the semester in almost over!
