Picture this ...

Glad to see your responses to my first blog. I really think I am going to enjoy this. I thought I would comment on the picture I posted, it is of my grandson taken last summer at the beach. I love looking at him so carefree, full of life and energy. I have this picture on my desk and smile each time I look at it and remember our happy times at the beach. Life truly is good and we need to remember to take time to make memories that last a lifetime. Dr. H, I hope you are enjoying the wilderness and some down time and are making some good memories to share with us on your return. I am taking two classes this summer, so I have to get busy on another assignment for my other class. Take care and have a great day:)

  1. Wow the ocean looks beautiful in this picture! How old is your grandson? He looks like about four or five. I would love to take my little girl to the beach when she gets a little older. I think it's great that you spend valuable bonding time with your grandchildren. To me they are God's little angles!!

  2. That is a neat pictue. We went on a trip to the beach the end of June and really had fun. I am longing for those days of sitting in the warm sun with the sound of waves and children laughing in the background. I would like to know more about your family.

  3. Thanks for your kind remarks concerning my vacation to Kentucky. We returned today to the much cooler temperatures, and was grateful for a safe trip. It was really fun and the scenery was absolutely beautiful. I have posted some pictures on Facebook and will try and get some up on my own blog site. The picture you posted is a really good one, and I know that you are quite proud of it - but more proud of who is in the picture!

  4. Brenda, you could win a photog award with that picture! We have been blessed in the ability to go to the beach the last 3 years. We've already mailed our deposit to return Thanksgiving week as well. My son has had surfing lessons the last two times and I can assure you of one thing. I would absolutely have NO PROBLEM being the mom of a world champion surfer. It would be no problem to travel to Tahiti, Costa Rica, Hawaii, Ireland, and Vietnam to watch my son surf some of the narliest pipelines in world.

My other grad class is extremely intense on the workload, so I know where you're coming from.

Look forward to seeing everyone week after next!
